Justin Hedges is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Prevail Partners. He has 28 years of experience in the British Royal Marines, bringing with him a wealth of strategy, leadership, programme management and technical expertise to drive company growth in expeditionary markets.
Justin’s professional accomplishments include founding Prevail Partners, a dynamic company that provides unique services within a congested market. Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, cycling and surfing. His favourite quote is ‘Get good people, give them an interesting task, and then get out of their way’. Justin Hedges has been a key part of establishing Prevail Partners as one of the most successful companies in its field.
Co-Founder and CEO
Damian Huntingford is the CEO of Prevail Partners Ltd. He is an experienced leader with a background in government service and he co-founded Prevail with that ethos in mind: finding meaningful security challenges and working with innovative teams of intelligence and security professionals capable of delivering excellence of service to clients. Damian enjoys bringing together and working with diverse multi-disciplinary teams to support partners address challenging national security risks.
Outside of work Damian enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading, and listening to podcasts.
Intelligence Director
Daryn Liddle is the Intelligence Director at Prevail Partners, having joined in 2018 as Prevail’s first employee. He has built up the company’s intelligence and investigations business, ultimately serving on the executive board. Prior to his current role, Daryn had a career in the British Army as an Infanteer and then Military Intelligence Officer before transitioning into the commercial sector. Daryn has been an integral player in the company’s growth, having worked with fellow Directors to get the company where it is today – something he is immensely proud of. His skill set and expertise for this role focuses on building and running intelligence fusion cells. He enjoys finding innovative ways to answer complex questions using people and technology, to help Prevail’s customers make important decisions.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, open-water swimming and the occasional round of golf.
Finance and Administration Director
Kirsty Wheeler is the Finance and Administration Director at Prevail Partners, where she has been since the company was first founded. She is responsible for managing all financial and administrative services, as well as providing strategic business planning to develop the Group into a financially sound business. Kirsty has a Bachelors degree in Business and an MBA which has enabled her to use her expertise to meet and exceed the financial targets of Prevail Partners. She also has a wealth of experience in starting her own business.
Out of work, Kirsty enjoys swimming, biking and running to stay healthy. Her favourite quote is ‘Life will give you whatever experience is valuable for the evolution of your consciousness.’ – Eckhart Tolle. With her combination of professional skills and experience, Kirsty Wheeler is a great asset to the Prevail team.
Project Lead
Tom Long is the Project Lead at Prevail Partners, a position he has held for several years. He brings with him an extensive background in military operations and leadership capabilities. Tom leads large and complex projects that cover both intelligence and live operations, striving to build a high-performing team that wants to socialise outside of work.
When not leading his team, Tom spends time with his children and enjoys open water swimming. His favourite quote is ‘I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.’ – Thomas Jefferson. Tom is an asset to Prevail Partners and looks forward to continuing to create successful projects and teams.
HR Director
Kristina Crabbe is an experienced professional with over 15 years in the Human Resources field currently serving as a leading member of Prevail Partners and leading People and Culture within the company. With her qualifications, including a Masters in Coaching and Behavioural Change, Kristina is also a Chartered Marketeer, Coach Supervisor, and Time to Think Consultant. Previously, Kristina served at Working with AT&T Solutions joining the AT&T Global Markets EMEA to support a Joint Venture with BT. During her career with AT&T, Kristina was the first member of HR invited to join the company’s Gold Club Reward Trip – a four-day trip to Dubai’s Royal Mirage.
Outside of work, Kristina is a proud mother of two and enjoys being outdoors in all kinds of weather. Her favorite quote is by Maya Angelou: “I believe that the most important thing, beyond discipline and creativity, is daring to dare.” Kristina brings her passion, expertise and commitment to Prevail Partners and strives to help the company achieve its goals. She is dedicated to delivering an innovative HR experience that will benefit both employees and employers alike.
Head of Geospatial Intelligence
Chris Toynbee is the Head of Geospatial Intelligence at Prevail Partners. He and his team use a wide range of geospatial analytic techniques to draw insights from data, unlocking its full potential and value for the team. Clean and easy to understand visualisations are key to ensuring customers take away the information they need. Esri Story Maps and Operations Dashboards, as well as other commercial software, have proved highly effective at doing this.
Chris fell in love with GIS and geospatial analytics by chance, and loves the variety of skills and techniques he gets to use to solve spatial problems. When not at work, Chris is an active coach for two kids football teams, as well as playing himself. His favourite quote is ‘We all have two lives, the second begins when we realise we only have one life!’ We’re proud to have Chris on the Prevail Partners team. His enthusiasm, skills and knowledge make him a valuable asset to our company.
Deputy Intelligence Manager
Tom Oldnall is the Deputy Intelligence Manager at Prevail Partners. He has 10 years of experience in Military Intelligence, covering a wide range of tasks in both Counter Terrorism (CT) and conventional Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO). Tom joined the company in December 2021 and since then, he has managed and delivered operational intelligence analysis primarily in the military and political sphere in support of operations. Tom’s professional accomplishments include providing intelligence support for the evacuation of civilians from a conflict zone in a timely manner so as to ensure their safety. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, camping and hill walking, visiting the UK’s many castles and air rifle shooting.
Tom’s expertise, skill set and dedication to his work make him an invaluable asset to the Prevail Partners team. He is committed to delivering results and helping the company reach its goals.
Account Manager
Guy Ansell is an Account Manager at Prevail Partners, managing current projects. With years of experience in the defence industry, Guy has a wealth of knowledge and expertise when it comes to stakeholder management, intelligence, security and project management. He previously served as an engineering consultant with a Defence supplier where he was named Consultant Engineer of the Year in 2021.
Outside of work, Guy is a devoted family man and loves the outdoors and travelling. He lives by Edmund Burke’s quote – ‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.’ Guy Ansell brings enthusiasm and dedication to Prevail Partners, eager to take on new projects and continue providing excellent service.
Operations Coordinator
James Payne is the Operations Coordinator at Prevail Partners. With a vast knowledge in Microsoft products, business process expertise and a passion for problem-solving, he has been an integral part of the team since joining. James’ role incorporates events and meeting planning, admin work with policies and processes; liaising with colleagues to ensure best practice is applied as well as striving to increase the efficiency of operations. James previously worked as a trainer for Microsoft and achieved his biggest success to date at Prevail with the coordination of their ISO 9001 Audit process.
Outside of work, James is an avid sportsman and loves experiencing new cultures through travelling. Enjoying evenings with his family, his favourite quote to live by is ‘We are the universe contemplating itself’ – Carl Sagan. James is a highly valued member of the team and ensures that all tasks are completed with great efficiency.
Analyst
Karolina Wroblewska is an Analyst at Prevail Partners, where she has been since March 2022. She collates and analyses data from multiple sources to develop inferences and support decision-making. Karolina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and was previously an Intelligence Analyst at the Police, using her expertise in Microsoft Excel and GIS to extract and analyse data.
One of her most notable achievements was leading a report about violence against women and girls in light of the protests that followed Sarah Everard’s death. Outside of work, Karolina enjoys dancing, baking, running and watching F1 races. She is passionate about using her skills for the benefit of others and dedicated to helping Prevail Partners achieve their goals.
Data Scientist
Djamel Cencio is a Data Scientist at Prevail Partners. He has been with the company since September 2022, turning raw data into actionable insights by utilising his skills in Python coding, Statistics/Machine Learning and visualisation. One of his most significant accomplishments was building a predictive model from raw and sparse datasets.
Outside of work, Djamel enjoys composing and producing music. His favourite quote is, ‘The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.’ Djamel strives to bring this focus and determination into all aspects of life.
Intelligence Analyst
Harry Fletcher is an Intelligence Analyst at Prevail Partners where he specialises in piecing together open-source information and data to produce a clear picture of events related to problem sets. Combining his expertise in political psychology, political science, public health and international relations (he has an MA from Edinburgh and MSc from LSHTM), Harry has the skills to develop intelligent solutions for real-time operational planning. Prior to this role, he had been managing international programmes for a surgical NGO, travelling to conflict zones and training war surgeons in complex humanitarian crises.
Harry is also an enthusiastic cyclist, Thai language learner and published academic author. His favourite quote sums up his dedication to problem-solving: ‘The coldest peace is better than the warmest war.’ – Hillary Clinton. Harry is a valuable member of the Prevail team and brings his intelligence, interdisciplinary approach and passion to every task he takes on.
Tech Lead and System Administrator
Shahid Kassim is a Technology Lead and System Administrator at Prevail Partners, joining in July 2022. He specialises in IT security and governance, infrastructure management and emerging technologies that can be utilised by the company. With ten years of experience in the field and a background specialising in IT support and project management, Shahid brings strategic thinking and a deep understanding of various technical systems to the team. Shahid has many professional accomplishments under his belt, the most noteworthy being working alongside two former Governors of the Bank of England.
A lover of all things outdoors and culture, Shahid is an avid hiker and mountaineer who has conquered numerous summits in Europe and Africa. He also enjoys visiting art galleries, cinema, jazz, art and architecture as well as travelling. His favorite quote is “if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”. His passion for technology and ability to think strategically has driven him to success in his career thus far and will no doubt continue to do so at Prevail Partners.
Geospatial Analyst
Stian Grove is a Geospatial Analyst at Prevail Partners, having joined the team in 2022. His expertise lies in GIS, Cartography, ArcGIS, Remote Sensing and Image Analysis. Stian studied geography at the University of Pretoria and now helps team projects with any Geo questions they might have, as well as reporting and visualisations.
Outside of work, Stian enjoys playing and watching cricket, listening to music and playing the guitar. His favourite quote is ‘Courage is grace under pressure.’ With his skillset and expertise, Stian helps Prevail Partners reach their full potential in the Geospatial field.
